Inner and outer life of a tulip
Feb 29, 2012
They bend and shape to the light. They fall ever so graciously to the energy in the room. They drink water profusely. Tulips. My favorite flower – the sweet reflection of my own light as it spotlights the shadowy parts of my inner landscape. I catch a glimpse of a petal about to fall and feel the layers of my skin shed and renew as I force my attention to gaze deeper into untapped parts. I am reminded of the polarities I contain within when I witness the magnificence of this extraordinary flower.
